Zhewei LIU (刘哲维) is currently a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Siemens, focusing on LLMs, Generative AI, and machine learning systems for real-world applications. He was previously a Schmit AI Research Fellow at the Vector Institute and University of Toronto. He received his PhD in Geographic Information Science from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research interests include large language models, AI engineering, intelligent systems, urban computing, and the broader application of artificial intelligence in industry and society. Beyond technology, he values humility, compassion, and intellectual honesty, and believes that meaningful achievements come from the combination of knowledge, discipline, and long-term persistence.
